Hi! I’m Jessica. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 13 years. I’m mama to 3 beautiful human babies and several fur and feather babies. Born and raised in the PNW and I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
I have many passions including; exploring the offerings at our local farmer’s market, vintage camper renovation, and getting my hands dirty in the garden. I’m a serial entrepreneur and spend my time managing the daily operations of our family businesses, including a pet care company, Platinum Leash.
As an adoption advocate, I feel when done ethically, open adoption is a wonderful way to grow a family. I’m excited to share my experience and insights with others in the adoption community. You can learn more about my son’s adoption on our blog.

I’m a mom of two awesome kiddos (ages 4 and 4 months). My husband of 13 years started as a “campaign romance” when we both worked on the 2004 presidential campaign. In my professional life, I’m a scientist and fortunate to work with people all over the world; this international perspective informs my parenting as well. Both of my beautiful children came to us in the first week of life through open adoption, and I am grateful every day for the incredible good fortunate of being their mom.
